Pricing questions
Is the 3% fee on top of the ticket price or included?
The 3% fee is deducted from the ticket revenue you receive. If an attendee pays £10, you receive £9.70 (we retain £0.30). We never add a booking fee on top of the price you set - the price attendees see is the price they pay.
Do I get charged if my event is free?
No. Free events on Gathrd are completely free to run. We only charge the 3% fee on paid ticket transactions. Free events incur zero platform cost, regardless of your tier.
Can I switch plans at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade immediately (takes effect the same day) or downgrade at the end of your billing period. There are no lock-ins. Annual plans are non-refundable but can be paused if your organisation needs a break.
Is Gift Aid included on the Organiser plan?
Yes, for eligible UK charities and churches. Gift Aid declaration capture and R68-ready report export are both included on Organiser, Pro, and Conference tiers. Gathrd does not submit to HMRC on your behalf - you retain full control of the reclaim process.
